Aim: To evaluate the achievements and problems in the construction of a healthy city in Hubei province, China.
Method: The Delphi method was used to determine the index weight in each level, and after that, the comprehensive index and standard index were calculated with the comprehensive index method. The differences between cities were conducted on Student's t-test and one-way analysis of variance with the level of 0.05 in two-sides for statistical significance.
Results: The average comprehensive index of the national sanitary cities was 96.656, a little lower than the standard value. The standard comprehensive index of provincial sanitary cities was 97.580, while the mean index of them was 84.982.
