Error analysis of multi-platform cooperative detection and location

Aiming at the problem of target location and error of multi-platform system under the condition of cooperative illumination, a multi-platform system model of one transmitter and multiple receivers is established. Then, the positioning equation is derived. Finally, according to different scenes, the numerical simulation experiment of error distribution is carried out, and the error distribution of target position coordinates are analyzed. The simulation results show that: the target position error obtained by using three elevation angles is the smallest; the target position error obtained by using three horizontal angles cannot be obtained by analytical solution; the target position error obtained by using only horizontal angle and delay difference is very large, which is invalid solution; the target position error obtained by multi-platform solution is smaller than that of dual platform solution. In the actual process of solving the target position, when the measurement data of the multi-platform cooperative detection system is sufficient, three pitch angles are preferred to solve the target coordinate position. The simulation results provide a theoretical basis for the reasonable selection of positioning methods to achieve high-precision positioning in different battlefield environments.
