One undescribed cyclohexenone derivative (1), two undescribed drimane sesquiterpene (2 and 3), together with another seven known drimane sesquiterpene were isolated from a marine-derived fungus Aspergillus insuetusSYS6925, derived from sea grass. All of them were identified by comprehensive spectroscopic analysis. Compounds 1‒3, 5 and 7 display moderates to potent antifungal activities towards plant pathogen fungus among Fusarium oxysporum, Fusarium graminearum, Colletotrichum musae, and Colletotrictum gloeosporioides. Compound 1, a rare cyclohexenone derivative with n-propyl group, had not been reported to isolated from Aspergillus genus. It exhibits more potent inhibitory activities agaisnt F. oxysporum than the positive control (Triadimefon).
