An Interactive Chinese Shadow Play System for Virtual Reality

Chinese shadow play has a long history and contains rich cultural elements. To preserve this ancient artistic heritage, we propose an interactive Chinese shadow play system based on virtual reality in a systematic and standardized way. This system contains three modules (character construction, animation production and virtual interaction) to formalize the multimodal interaction method and the construction of the model library. This interactive system will contribute to the preservation of Chinese shadow play cultural treasures.
