As China's economy transitions from high-speed growth to high-quality development, new quality productivity forces have emerged as key drivers of this transformation. In alignment with the development plan of China's Yangtze River Delta and the region's strategic importance, this study proposes and constructs a sea-land integration index system for these new quality productivity forces. The goal is to evaluate the application and effectiveness of these forces in integrating sea and land transportation and supply chain management, ultimately enhancing logistics efficiency and reducing costs through sea-land integration to promote the high-quality development of the regional economy.
Specifically, this paper first examines the significance and feasibility of achieving efficient coordination in sea-land combined transportation. Then, through an integrated development mechanism that includes intelligent logistics, green energy utilization rates, transportation time optimization, and digital synergy, the study uses empirical data and case analysis, combined with an econometric model, to quantitatively assess how these new quality productivity forces reduce logistics costs and improve supply chain efficiency in the Yangtze River Delta's sea-land combined transport channel. Finally, based on the evaluation of the economic and environmental benefits of new quality productivity under the sea-land integration framework, the paper discusses how digital technologies, such as blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT), can enhance the overall efficiency of sea-land intermodal transportation through optimized supply chain management.
The main contribution of this study is the development of a new quality productivity forces index system within the sea-land integration framework, providing a set of quantitative standards for measuring cost optimization and economic benefit improvements in logistics. By analyzing the interactive relationship between new quality productivity and sea-land integration, this paper offers a theoretical foundation and practical pathway for promoting intelligent and green development of the sea-land channels in the Yangtze River Delta and establishing an efficient port and shipping market.
