摘要
Ultrasound-induced bubble dynamics, which play a critical role in various engineering and environmental applications, are numerically investigated. A coupled level-set and volume-of-fluid (CLSVOF) method is extended to simulate bubble collapse, resulting in shock-wave emission and liquid jet formation. The proposed method is validated through standard benchmark tests and further evaluated by comparison with numerical solutions of the Keller–Miksis equation and results from commercial CFD software. Parametric studies are conducted to examine the influence of acoustic conditions and initial bubble radius on overall bubble growth and collapse, including the resulting shock wave emission and jet formation.
