摘要
In this paper, a double-layer multi-transmitters (TXs) and its activation strategy with high transmission efficiency and misalignment tolerance is proposed for a wireless charging system. Firstly, the TXs is a two-layer coils staggered arrangement, with a relatively uniform magnetic field and low leakage flux, which can effectively enhance the anti-misalignment performance. The receiving coil (RX) is designed with a minimum outer radius to ensure the rated power pickup. Then, the optimal transmission efficiency condition is derived, which is related to TXs current, mutual inductance, and the activated TXs number. Based on the optimal efficiency condition, TXs activation strategy is determined by further detecting the voltage and current on the primary side and load to identify mutual inductance. An experimental prototype is carried out to validate the proposal. The results show that the proposed system can transmit a constant power of 500W in misalignments, with a maximum efficiency of 91%.
