摘要
DC de-icing for overhead ground wires suffers from complex equipment, high costs, and reliance on external power supplies. During distribution network failures, DC systems become inoperable. This paper proposes an AC de-icing method using induced currents. The method employs an auxiliary circuit and a single-phase transformer to amplify the induced current in the target ground wire section, generating sufficient joule heating for ice removal. By leveraging electromagnetic coupling, the system operates independently of external power sources, enabling de-icing on non-outage lines even during distribution faults. This approach uses standard components (single-phase transformers and circuit breakers), significantly reducing costs compared to DC systems. It eliminates dependency on dedicated power infrastructure, enhancing reliability through simplified equipment. This innovation overcomes the limitations of conventional methods and provides an economical and efficient self-powered solution for de-icing overhead ground wires.
