Instructions for submitting abstracts

We invite prospective participants to submit abstracts in a Word document.

Abstracts are welcomed as they are an essential element of all WCACS meetings. We welcome abstracts on clinical and experimental research related to the abdominal compartment. Only accepted abstracts which are presented during the Congress will be published in the congress proceedings.

Abstracts Submission Guidelines

Please adhere to the following formatting guidelines when preparing abstracts for submission for WCACS 2017. Abstracts which do not meet this standard will not be considered.
Text needs to be left justified, Times New Roman font- size 10. Word limit of 500 for the body of the abstract

Authors may indicate more than one affiliation if necessary. Abstracts must include the ‘corresponding/presenting’ author along with contact details. The corresponding/presenting author must submit the abstract.
Through the Online Abstract System authors of abstracts are requested to select their preferred presentation type:

• Request Oral Presentation only

• Request Poster Presentation only

• Request either Oral or Poster Presentation

The Program Committee will try to accept the preference shown by the author, but this is not guaranteed in all cases.

Below is a sample abstract layout that you need to use when you create your abstract. All abstracts must follow this layout

• Objective

• Material and methods

• Results

• Conclusion

Please check if your conclusions follow your objectives and avoid overinterpretation.
