I am indeed privileged and delighted to host the Annual National Conference of Indian Association of Biological Psychiatry (ANCIABP) on 19th-20th August 2017 at Hotel JW Marriott, Chandigarh, and the most planned city of India.

I express my sincere thanks to the office bearers of IABP for giving me an opportunity to host this conference and for agreeing upon to organize the most challenging scientific event. Such a herculean task would not have been possible without the voyage traveled together by the organizing committee members and faculty from India, who has traveled far distance for their participation & young students and researchers.

The conference program has been planned to deliver the most recent advancement in Biological Psychiatry by eminent scientists across the country. Keeping this in view, the plenary lectures is planned featuring interesting scientific sessions related to day-to-day clinical practice & many more.

I hope that all of you will enjoy the academic feast, warm hospitality of Chandigarh, rich heritage of the region and culture.

This is the great occasion for all of us to have an opportunity to interact with the leading Psychiatrists from India and to bridge the collaborative efforts for solving many of the biological issues of human mind. Let us join our hands together to share our knowledge and experience that will go a very long way in helping to build up the healthy, prosperous and developed nation.
