KSE 2017 special session on Spatial Data Science and Technology (STATS) serves as a forum for scientific exchanges and technology transfer between researchers, managers and industrial sectors. STATS will focus on advanced developments of spatial data science and technology to address issues related to natural and social worlds. Researchers are welcome to submit papers on theoretical or empirical works, or surveys of recent and future trends in spatial data science and technology.
