INFOS is a premier conference in informatics and systems that takes place in Cairo, Egypt. The conference theme for this year is “Towards a Digital Society” where the conference focuses on adopting and adapting existing and emerging technologies that enable the transformation to a digital society. This year INFOS plans to bring together industry and academia to discuss, share, and advance the future of IT and its role in im-proving economy and society.
Contributions are welcomed in all topics related to informatics, systems, and computing with focus on data and its use in boosting the economy. Submission is open for high quality, original and unpublished papers of all types of work, including industrial, empirical, and theoretical. A special focus will be given to contributions that discuss challenges, barriers, and opportunities for exploiting informatics and computing systems and technologies to solve pressing and practical societal challenges in health, agriculture, energy, and educa-tion with direct impact on economy.
Submissions requirements, guidelines, and eligibility conditions are elaborated in call for contribution of each track. INFOS 2018 invites contributions for Research papers, Tutorials and Workshops proposals, and Posters.

Proceedings
INFOS 2016 proceedings will be published by the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS) under the ISBN number 978-1-4503-4062-5. It is planned to run the conference as parallel streams of high quality presentations with attached poster sessions and demonstrations. All accepted papers that are presented at the conference would be included in the proceedings. Advantages for authors when publishing in ACM-ICPS can be found here
Formatting Guidelines
All submitted papers must conform to the ACM-ICPS formatting guidelines (For assistance, please contact ACM’s TeX support team at Aptara. Please do not make changes to the standard format or modify the style files or any layout parameters. Papers must not exceed 7 pages including all references, figures, tables, and appendices. Only ONE extra page can be purchased for an extra $50. Papers must be proofread to prevent typographical errors and language mistakes in grammar, style, and spelling. Papers must be submitted as a trouble-free high-resolution PDF.
INFOS 2016 reviewing process is double-blind. Please make sure that the submission does not disclose the authors’ identities or affiliation in anyway. We recommend replacing authors’ names and affiliations with the tracking number of the submission. Authors are requested to ensure that any references to their own previous work are made in a way that does not disclose their identity. For example, instead of "in previous work, we have shown X [ref]" authors are asked to consider expressions such as "X was shown in [ref]". Authors are also asked to ensure that the PDF file submitted does not contain embedded identifying information. Also, please make sure any acknowledgments or references to things like project/group names or webpages do not give away the authors' identity. Identifying information can be added at the authors' discretion in the final camera-ready version of the paper.
We encourage authors to obtain ethical approval for experiments with human subjects from their corresponding institutions' Internal Review Board and demonstrate this information as part of the submission.
INFOS 2016 will not accept any paper that, at the time of submission, is under review for or has already been published or accepted for publication in a journal or another conference. Authors are also required not to submit their papers elsewhere during INFOS 2016's review period. Authors will be required to confirm that their submissions conform to these requirements at the time of submission. Submitted papers must comply with the following double submission and plagiarism and self-plagiarism policies.
To ensure all submissions are treated fairly and equally, authors are asked to follow all the instructions above. Submitted papers might be rejected without reviewing if they do not adhere to all the above requirements.
