Scope:Virtual Campuses are an inherent part of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as support tools for teaching in any of its modalities. These tools are part of the technological ecosystem of HEIs and other tools incorporated over time to meet the various needs that accompany the different teaching-learning scenarios. Even though digital transformation is one of the objectives that any HEIs should address in the last decade, the COVID-19 has highlighted the importance of this transformation and open educational resources. Virtual Campuses and the different tools that make up the technological ecosystem that supports learning are evolving and adapting to the newly emerging needs. Digital transformation is not only a technological issue; it involves people and is for people. Issues related to equality and diversity, respect for privacy, and an ethical approach to the use of technologies becomes of paramount importance that will be the forefront of reflection and practice in this conference.
