Following the successful CFB-13 Conference in Vancouver, Canada, we are pleased to welcome you to the 14th International Conference on Circulating Fluidized Bed Technology, CFB-14, to be held on Taiyuan, China between July 21-24, 2024.
The CFB-14 conference seeks to bring together prominent and young researchers, educators and practitioners of circulating fluidized bed technology to share their impactful research discoveries, achievements and practicing experiences. Since CFB-11, the conference scope has also been extended to other fields of fluidization and fluidized bed technologies such as bubbling, turbulent and spouted bed.
On behalf of the CFB-14 Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you, your colleagues, and all university postdocs and students working on fluidization science and technology to participate in this conference.
The 8th International Symposium on Spouted Beds, ISSB-8, will be held as a joint event with CFB-14. For conference details, please access via the ISSB-8 button on the menu above.
The CFB-14 Conference will continue in the tradition of this conference series dating from 1985, with its focus on the fundamental research and applications of circulating fluidized bed technology. It will also incorporate other novel fluidized bed reactor technologies, especially those related to green processes, clean and renewable energy such as hydrogen and bio-fuels, energy storage and conversion, and carbon capture and utilization such as chemical looping combustion/gasification. In addition to studies on fundamental and applied aspects of fluidized beds and fluidization systems, CFB-14 will also emphasize on fluidized bed technologies targeting energy and environmental issues.

The papers submitted should not be published or considered for publishing elsewhere. The excellent papers would be selected for publication in international journals as a special issue of Powder technology, Particuology, Advanced Powder Technology, Frontiers in Energy, Applied Energy, Processes, and Carbon Resources Conversion.
