The Gordon Research Seminar on Glycobiology is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The focus of this meeting is to highlight recent progress on the contributions of viral, microbe, protozoan and metazoan model systems in understanding the function of glycosylation, as well as the roles of glycans and glycoproteins in human genetic disease, cancer, immunology, gene expression, epigenetics and genome-wide analysis. Methodologies for glycan structural analysis in addition to structural, mechanistic and functional studies will also be discussed and a career development section will conclude the meeting.
