The ever increasing market penetration of smart-phones, tablets, and netbooks, along with the ubiquitous availability of wireless networks are deeply influencing the way people live, work, interact, and socialize. However, the broad popularity and diffusion of innovative services and applications tailored at mobile users is also raising challenging research issues that require us to rethink available mobile technology solutions to meet the emerging needs of a broader and ever growing user base. MoWNet'2016 aims at addressing recent research results on selected topics in Mobile & Wireless Networking and to present their methodologies, models, technologies, systems, tools, applications, work in progress and experiences.
Following MoWNET'2014, MoWNet'2013, iCOST'2012 and iCOST'2011 which were held in Rome/Italy, Montreal/Canada, Avignon/France and Shanghai/China, respectively, MoWNet'2016 will be held in Cairo, Egypt. On the Nile river, Cairo is famous for its own history, preserved in the fabulous medieval Islamic city and Coptic sites in Old Cairo. The Egyptian Museum in the centre of the town is a must-see, with its countless Acient Egyptian artefacts. No trip to Cairo would be complete without a visit to the Giza Pyramids, and to the nearby Saqqara Pyramid Complex, where visitors will see Egypt's first step pyramid built by the architect Imhotep for the third dynasty Pharaoh, Djoser.
The MoWNet'2016 technical program will deliver high quality technical papers that will be reviewed and selected by an international program committee. For more information, please click to see Call For Submissions. Authors are required to submit anonymous fully formatted papers (PDF), with graphs, images, and other special areas arranged as intended for the final publication. Papers should be written in English conforming to the IEEE standard conference format (8.5" x 11" - US letter, Two-Column). The initial submission for review will be limited to 8 pages. The final manuscript for publication will be limited to 8 IEEE pages.
