The Special Session on Compiler Architecture, Design and Optimization provides a premier venue to bring together systems researchers working at compiler architecture, design and code optimization of high performance computing systems. The track spans the spectrum from performance to energy optimization, and from purely static to fully dynamic approaches.
This session aims at examining different solutions to these problems and includes, but is not limited to:
Compiler abstraction and intermediate representations
Integration of language features, representations, optimizations, and runtime support for parallelism
Auto-parallelization
Binary translation
Compiler-support for parallelism mapping, thread extraction, task scheduling, speculation, transaction, memory management, data distribution and synchronization
Combinations of the above
